Turkey Cookies

We saw these little cookies in an email from Nestle Family and HAD to try them!  Check out our turkey chocolate chip cookies.

Bub is going to demonstrate how we made these.

We started with chocolate chip cookies (store-bought because we're having weird oven issues), chocolate frosting, sliced almonds, candy corn, and white chocolate chips.

Spread the frosting onto a cookie.

This is a good time to taste the frosting.. why not?

Candy corn beak, and white chocolate chip eyes.

Finish with slivered almond "feathers".  Aren't they cute?

Bigger bit got somewhat carried away and added a bit much decor to her turkey - so she proceeded to call it "fancy turkey" for the rest of the day.  The princess put it's nose on backwards, to see if we'd notice.
